Amend the relevant laws/regulations and ensure that traders have access to a second test. Help to develop accreditation criteria and/or to identify laboratories equipped to carry out the relevant test procedures. Develop standard operating procedures, particularly those pertaining to appropriate sampling techniques and the handling of results that contradict the results of the second test. Human resources/training: capacity building for the border agencies, laboratories/technicians and traders involved. |
