3 May 2024 — G/TFA/N/EGY/4The relevant Egyptian Authorities have not received technical assistance or capacity building in respect of the implementation of Article 10.1.However, Egypt has taken appropriate steps to minimize the incidence and complexity of import, export, and transit formalities and to decrease and simplify documentation requirements. TACB support needs include: • Conduct a thorough business process analysis of existing formalities and documentation. • Harmonize trade formalities and documentation to international standards. • Develop a system for regular and periodic review of formalities and documentation requirements. • Training of staff. |
