Reason
Additional time is needed to establish a mechanism that allows relevant authorities to periodically review fees and expenses to limit their number and variations. In addition, when Egypt completes the implementation of its Trade Information Portal (TIP), all fees and charges will publish on it.

Egypt has not received technical assistance or capacity building support in this respect.

TACB support needs include:

• Conduct a business process analysis of existing fees and charges on or in Connection with Importation and Exportation.
• Development of the ICT infrastructure for the relevant agencies in order to be able to publish all fees & charges in connection with Importation and Exportation.
• Training of the concerned staff in all related agencies on publication and review and the international best practices in this respect.
